Almost an Oscar

An Oscar nomination is something really special - if that's not a reason to celebrate! We are very happy with the "The Teachers' Lounge" team about this great success.

Whether a film becomes something really big or not is of course never certain at the beginning. When the project landed on our desks a long time ago, it was no different. Soon after completion, however, it was clear, as the list of awards began to grow significantly. Berlinale, German Film Award - all big names. "The Teachers' Lounge" was therefore our clear favourite when it came to choosing the film for the 2023 DFG film event.

And now almost an Oscar! It was a special honour for us to sponsor the production company's reception in Los Angeles and we congratulate them on their Oscar nomination. Even if it wasn't quite enough in the end - it was definitely an unforgettable adventure!
