Completion bond
As a complement to the traditional completion bond, the DFG has developed another product, the DFFF Bond. This extension relates to productions which use funds from the German Film Promotion Fund (DFFF) as part of the financing package and assign them to banks. The DFFF Bond guarantees to banks that the DFFF component will be paid in full.
Should a payment by the DFFF not be effected or only be effected in part due to non-compliance with agreements reached between the DFFF and the producer, the DFG steps in within the scope of the guarantee it has undertaken.
